More proof that we’re going to be working from home for a while …Google just announced that they are allowing their employees to work remotely till next summer. "To give employees the ability to plan ahead, we are extending our global voluntary work from home option through June 30, 2021, for roles that don't need to be in the office," Google CEO Sundar Pichai told employees in an email. "I hope this will offer the flexibility you need to balance work with taking care of yourselves and your loved ones over the next 12 months." (Business Insider)
Speaking of working from home …Seems people have really gotten used to the flexibility. A new survey of people who are employed or currently looking for work found that 78% of respondents said schedule flexibility in their job has become an “absolute necessity.” Since the start of the pandemic, here's what respondents say are the most important aspects of a job:
- Schedule flexibility -- 65%
- Option to work from home -- 61%
- Socially distanced workspace -- 58%
- Healthcare benefits -- 58%

Plant-powered …NFL quarterback Cam Newton went vegan in March of 2019 -- and says he has enjoyed huge health benefits since he stopped eating meat. But they are cute enough to be worn out too.
