TODAY’S TOPICS:

Bathroom wars …A new survey of couples found that 70% say they are in the middle of a “bathroom war” with their significant other.

According to the men surveyed, their biggest bathroom issue was how much hair their wife or girlfriend left in the shower drain. For women, their biggest gripe was the mess and smells their boyfriend or husband left behind in the toilet.

How bad are the bathroom wars? 20% of those surveyed said they had ended a relationship because of a person’s bathroom habits.

The healing power of music …Seems a lot of us are coping with these uncertain times – by listening to music. A new survey found that 81% of respondents said music is helping them cope with stress these days. In fact, according to the research, Americans are listening to music an extra 38 minutes a day. Virtual concerts are also helping. 64% said watching virtual performances has allowed them to feel more connected to others. Speaking of music …A nightclub in the Netherlands has re-opened -- and is using a unique way to keep people at a safe distance. They have set up chairs five feet apart, where patrons can sit and enjoy the music – or dance in their chairs. Currently, only 30 guests are allowed in the club at a time. According to the club’s marketing manager Koos Hornman, "Sitting in this setting is, and looks, very strange. However, people really enjoyed being in our venue again and just having a little taste of the atmosphere and the loud music." (Insider)

Unmasked Men …Seems there’s a battle of the sexes when it comes to wearing masks. Namely, women wear them and men don’t. According to a new study from researchers in the UK and California, men are much less likely to wear masks than women -- even though they are more susceptible to COVID-19. Why? Seems men view wearing a mask as less manly and even a sign of weakness.Hey, guys, most superheroes wear masks …(Vogue)
