From booze to hand sanitizer …A shortage of hand sanitizer has led some distilleries to make an important decision. With booze (thankfully) still in bountiful supply, Twin Valley Distillers in Maryland, Eight Oaks Farm Distillery in Pennsylvania, Green Mountain Distillers in Vermont, and Durham Distillery in North Carolina have switched from producing liquor to making hand sanitizer. All of them are selling the product with very little profit. Some are even giving it away or donating a portion of the proceeds. All of them say it's their way of helping people during a very difficult time. (People)

Zoom filters? With lots of people working from home, video conferencing is becoming the new norm. And it seems some people want to glam up their look for those conferences. Yep, new work-from-homers have taken to Twitter to start a campaign to get apps like Zoom to add filters for video conferencing. What they want the most? A makeup filter. "Is there a Snapchat-like filter on Zoom that airbrushes your face, puts makeup on you, fixes your hair and outfits you with a nice shirt so that you don't look like a scrub in a last-minute video conference?" one Twitter user asked. Another tweeted: "Can someone invent a filter for @zoom_us that makes it look like I put on makeup?" Thankfully, Zoom does have a feature called “touch up my appearance,” which will make you look less like a zombie, wearing the same clothes day after day, and more like a productive employee.
