Change the date …Lots of people want Halloween to be changed from October 31st to the last Saturday in October. Supporters claim it’s better for kids, parents and party goers. A petition started onChange.orgto change the Halloween date to the last Saturday of October has more than 150,000 signatures. And now Snickers has gotten onboard. They’ve pledged to give away 1 million candy bars if the date is changed. “Snickers is all in on celebrating Halloween to the fullest," said Josh Olken, brand director for Snickers. "More hours in the day. More families being able to enjoy it. A more satisfying celebration.
