Hootie and the Blowfish dropped some big news on the Today show this morning. They're working on new material and will release a new album in 2019. They'll also hit the road for their first tour in 12 years.
The band, fronted by Darius Rucker, followed their announcement with an in-studio performance of "Let Her Cry." Tickets for the tour, which will take along Barenaked Ladies, go on sale this Friday. The trek starts May 30th in Virginia Beach, Virginia and wraps up in their hometown of Columbia, South Carolina September 13th.
2019 marks the 25th anniversary of their massive debut album, Cracked Rear View.
