Summertime and lemonade go hand-in-hand, but the refreshing drink that one nine-year-old boy in South Carolina was selling on Memorial Day was a little extra sweet.
Andrew Emery opened up his lemonade stand with the hopes of raising enough money to pay for his baby brother's medical bills.
Andrew's brother, Dylan, was born earlier this year with a rare and dangerous neurological condition called Krabbe disease. His parents are with Dylan at a hospital in Pittsburgh, so Andrew has been staying with his grandparents.
On Memorial Day, he set up his stand and in only two hours, he raised more than $5,000. He also sold "Team Dylan" T-shirts.
After counting up his profits, Andrew said, "I'm gonna spend it on doctor's bills and stuff, and buy him a teddy bear too. I just want to help Dylan. He's my baby brother." (ABC News)
