TeeRoy's 2 Cents:
- Both names sound made up.
- Diueson Octave and Bill K. Kapri are both a lot cooler than the name on my birth certificate. Hmm, maybe I should change my name, too.
- He'll always be Kodak Black to us.
- Wonder what the K stands for.
- Will changing his name really give him a clean slate? He's still gonna be the same guy.

Kodak Black just got a new government name.
The incarcerated rapper will change his legal name from Dieuson Octave to Bill K. Kapri. Meanwhile, he’ll continue to record and perform under the Kodak Black moniker.
Attorney Bradford Cohen says that Kodak changed his name because he wants a “fresh start.” He’s serving a year-long bid after pleading guilty to a pair of probation violations.
Cohen claims that a child services investigation into the rapper has been dropped. He expects that his client could be home as early as October if he stays on his best behavior. (TMZ)
