British Prime Minister Theresa May Secures Changes To Brexit Deal

The U.K. Parliament may be one step closure to passing a deal to leave the EU. British Prime Minister Theresa May is securing assurances from the European Union that may help the U.K. Parliament do just that. The legally binding changes to the withdrawal deal address worries that Britain would be stuck abiding by a rule that prevents a hard border between the British-controlled Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, which is part of the EU. Under the new plan, Britain and the EU would work towards alternate arrangements for the Irish border by the end of next year. The Brexit deal will be voted on in the British Parliament on today.
