H.E.R. Encourages Us To 'Keep Holding On' During Living Room Concert

H.E.R. graced audiences with her unmatched singing abilities to pay tribute to the people on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic, who are putting their lives at risk every day to fight the spread of COVID-19.

The 22-year-old singer joined dozens of celebrities for FOX presents The iHeartRadio Living Room Concert for America on Sunday (March 29), where she sang an acoustic version of her unearthed track "Keep Holding On."

"Our next artist is awesome," Ellen DeGeneres said as she introduced H.E.R. "I love her so much. She is just incredible. Her name actually means: Having Everything Revealed. Revealing herself from her living room in New York, H.E.R."

Dressed in sweats and her usual tinted shades, H.E.R. began her set by welcoming audiences into her living room. "It's amazing how music can bring us all together even though we're all at home. I hope everybody's staying at home and staying safe," she said before picking up her guitar and effortlessly belting out the track.

Last week, the "Slow Down" singer expressed being fed up with being "a part of a major historical [events]," referring to the novel coronavirus pandemic.

"Going MAD," she wrote on Instagram. "But let me say thank you to those who are sacrificing so much to help prevent the spread of this virus and the ones in the hospitals risking their lives every day, and those who have donated every piece of equipment and supply they could find, wish it didn’t take something traumatic for people to unite to help others. But We’ll get through this!"

You can support two of many charitable organizations that are helping victims and first responders during this difficult time —Feeding America and First Responders Children's Foundation. Every dollar raised from the COVID-19 response fund for Feeding America will be used to get food and funds to local food banks across the US and FOX Entertainment is matching the first $100,000 donated from supporters. Money raised for First Responders Children's Foundation will help support those first responder families who are enduring financial hardship due to the coronavirus outbreak.
