What would you do if a family member faked their own death and showed up at their funeral?
Well, a Belgian TikToker took his content to the next level by faking his own death. That is beyond crazy! David Baerten (aka Ragnar le Fou) faked his own death and ended up surprising his family at his own funeral by showing up in a helicopter. The reaction...his loved ones and family cried and gave him hugs.
Baerten pulled off this crazy stunt with the help of his wife and daughters. One daughter event posted about his passing saying, "Rest in peace, Daddy. I will never stop thinking about you. Why is life so unfair? Why you? You were going to be a grandfather, and you still had your whole life ahead of you. I love you! We love you! We will never forget you." Now why would he do such a thing? His reason behind it was because his family was in a "fractured" state.
"What I see in my family often hurts me. I never get invited to anything. Nobody sees me. We all grew apart. I felt unappreciated. That’s why I wanted to give them a life lesson, and show them that you shouldn’t wait until someone is dead to meet up with them," he said, according to the outlet.
The 45 year old said that only half of his family came out to his funeral and those that didn't go ended up contacting him to meet up, which to him was a win. There were mixed reactions from his followers saying that they could "never put my family through that" and that they unsubscribed from him. What do you think of this stunt?
