There's no doubt that LA has pollution because whenever you are on your way into Downtown LA you can see the pollution clouds lingering above the skyline about 80% of the time.
The American Lung Association's 2022 State of the Air report measured the air pollution across the United States to find the cleanest and most polluted places in the nation. The rankings are broken down into 3 categories, which are ozone, year-round particle pollution conditions and short-term particle pollution conditions. Check out the ozone rankings below:
