Another 210 Freeway closure is going down next week and if that is part of your daily route for work, you may want to give yourself extra time to get there.
The second major shutdown of the 210 Freeway by Irwindale will begin on August 17th at 10pm through August 23rd at 5am. That's another 126 hour closure to complete the hinge replacement project for the San Gabriel River bridge.
This time the eastbound lanes will be closed to drivers between the 605 Freeway and Irwindale Ave. along with onramps and transition roads within the area. The westbound side will convert into 3 lanes so that cars can travel in both directions but that is where traffic is expected to backup. Head to KTLA 5 for more on the 210 Eastbound Freeway closure.
