I don't know about you but I'm still recovering from us losing an hour due to Daylight Saving Time on Sunday.
Well luckily today, Senators unanimously passed a bill that would make Daylight Saving time permanent nationwide. Last week the Sunshine Protection Act was introduced and now it needs to be passed by the House and then finally by President Joe Biden to become a law.
"Switching in and out of Daylight Saving Time is outdated, and it's only a source of annoyance and confusion. Frankly, it's just dumb, and there's just no other way to say it," said Republican Sen. Marco Rubio.
According to BuzzFeed News, the bill will allow states to pass their own laws to continue changing their clocks twice per year if they want to stick with the current norm in most of the country.
