Disneyland Gives Passholders New "Legacy" Title And Promises More Perks

The Disneyland Resort has just announced that guests who held a valid Annual Passport when the parks closed back in March 2020 will now be known as “Legacy Passholders.”

Annual passholders who had active passes when the park closed on March 14 will continue to receive discounts on food and merchandise at Downtown Disney and Buena Vista Street until a new membership program is announced. Disney will boost AP discounts to 30% on select dates from through Feb. 25 on select merchandise.

The Disneyland legacy passholder website promises additional unannounced “special surprise and delight moments” are still to come.

“We’re working on adding more magic during this limited time,” according to the legacy passholder website. “So, get ready to be surprised, delighted and, most of all, celebrated — because that’s what being a Disneyland Resort Legacy Passholder is all about.”

It is unknown what additional perks will be announced for these Legacy Passholders, or when they will be available.
