Disneyland To Reopen Disney Vacation Club Villas For The Holidays

While Disneyland parks in Anaheim are still closed, they plan to continue their gradual phased reopening in December with the return of the Disney Vacation Club villas while the theme parks and hotels remain closed indefinitely amid the continuing coronavirus pandemic.

The Disney Vacation Club villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will reopen on Dec. 6, according to a letter sent to DVC members.

Disney Vacation Club members with upcoming reservations at the Grand Californian villas will receive information soon on what to expect during their visit.

Most dining, activities and services will be modified with limited capacity due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols during the initial reopening of the DVC villas.

COVID-19 health and safety reopening guidelines issued by the state could leave Disneyland, Disney California Adventure and other large California theme parks unable to return until early 2021 or next summer. Downtown Disney reopened in July and California Adventure Buena Vista Street will partially reopen in November.
