Good news, bad news for DirecTV customers. Let’s start with the bad: you’ve lost all your Disney channels. Not just THE Disney Channel, but any network owned by Disney. That includes ABC, ESPN, FX, NatGeo, and Freeform. They all went poof since a new contract couldn't be negotiated.
Don’t worry. This won’t last forever! They’ll eventually get it handled, but here’s the good news: DirecTV is offering you a credit of at least $20, though it won’t come automatically. Of course not! You have to ask for it. Fortunately, there aren’t too many hoops to jump through.
CLICK HERE, then enter your service and zip code. It will show what channels you’ve lost along with a link to “explore bill credits.” That’s where you log into your DirecTV account and learn what kind of refund you’ll get.
It’s not ideal, but hey...it’s better than nothing! At least you’re not paying for channels that aren’t there.
