I want to share something with you that I’m kinda sorta hooked on as of late. It’s a webcam in the San Bernardino mountains of California.
Have you heard about Jackie & Shadow? They are a pair of bald eagles. About a month ago, Jackie laid three eggs. Then there was this huge snowstorm. She did not leave that nest for 62 hours! Poor bird was covered in snow just to protect her babies. Well now, it’s time for the first of those three eggs to hatch. In fact, what they call a "pip watch" starts this Thursday (2/29).
It could take a day or two for that first little bird to make its way out of the egg. Then the other two should hatch over the next week or so. That’s why the world is watching!
