There have been so many studies on the effect of Vitamin C on a cold.
Does it shorten the cold? A little.
Does it fight off a cold? Not really.
It is great for you... YES! There are so many benefits to Vitamin C (great skin, fighting off free radicals, metabolism, energy production, etc...)
But be careful... taking too much can cause lots of health issues.
Adults should take NO MORE than 2000 mg a day.
Daily recommendations are less than a 100 mg a day.
And as always... check with your doctor before you start taking any supplements.
Stay healthy ~Jana
