The 2020 MTV Video Music Awards are underway!
On Sunday (August 30), the VMAs will broadcast virtually in New York City, with Keke Palmer hosting the annual awards ceremony. Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande are leading with the most nods this year's event with nine apiece, whereas Billie Eilish and The Weeknd trail closely behind with six nominations respectively.
(This VMAs also marks the addition of three new categories, including Song of Summer, Best Group, and Everyday Heroes: Frontline Medical Workers.)
The show will also be entertained with several hotly anticipated performances, including those from Gaga and Grande, Miley Cyrus, The Weeknd, BTS, The Black Eyed Peas, CNCO, Doja Cat, Maluma, and DaBaby.
