Here's The Real Story Behind Rihanna's Lit Grammys Dance Move

The 60th annual Grammys had a number of great performances from superstars like Bruno Mars and Cardi B, Elton John and Miley Cyrus; Logic, Alessia Cara, and Khalid, Kesha, and more.

One moment that was a highlight of the night was DJ Khaled's performance of "Wild Thoughts" with Rihanna and Bryson Tiller. While singing the hit onstage, the Grammys' audience and watchers at home noticed the bad gyal was doing a fun dance. As she felt the beat, Riri was moving her legs and swaying her hips.

Many fans of the star didn't exactly know what dance Rihanna was doing. But, they weren't mad looking at her because she was GETTING IT. Some even called it the stinky leg or grinding...which it clearly wasn't...

For those who aren't aware, this fun dance is called the "gwara-gwara" and it originates from South Africa. Durban hitmaker DJ Bongz made the dance popular and it looks like Rihanna fell in love with it, too. See reactions from South Africans and more to Rihanna killing the move below.
