There are some songs that just make you emotional, and Billie Eilish is revealing which song by The Killers has made her shed tears.
Ahead of her performance at iHeartRadio ALTer EGO 2021 presented by Capital One, Billie recalled crying to The Killers' iconic 2004 hit "Mr. Brightside." Her brother, FINNEAS, started off by saying, "The Killers is a band that I think we both view as like a childhood favorite, especially Hot Fuss, the album, because 'Mr. Brightside' on it is just such an important piece of music to us."
Then, Billie followed up with, "I mean, there was a lot of times when I would just sit in the car and cry to 'Mr Brightside,' even though nothing in my life, at all, was that situation. There's just music that makes you feel heard, even if what you feel heard for isn't even how you feel, if that makes sense." She added, "Love The Killers."
Billie closed out iHeartRadio ALTer EGO 2021 with a gorgeous, dreamy performance, alongside FINNEAS, as they performed "Therefore I Am," "everything i wanted" and "my future."
Eilish has been working on her new album, which will follow her 2019 debut When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, she explained that her forthcoming new music "feels exactly how I want it to." She added, "There isn’t one song, or one part of one song, that I wish was this or that I wish it was that."
FINNEAS also said of the new album, that it's "a continuation of Billie's life story."
While no other details have been shared about Billie's new album, it is expected to be released sometime this year.
