Started yodeling in Walmart, now we're here. Eleven-year-old Mason Ramsey became a viral sensation after a video of himself yodeling in his local Walmart when viral, but his talent has taken him to Coachella, and now the iHeartCountry Music Festival.
Mason appeared on stage where he not only showed off his yodeling chops to the crowd performing the song that made him famous in the first place (Hank Williams's "Lovesick Blues"), but performed his recently released debut single "Famous," accompanied by a guitarist. He told the crowd, "I hope you like it."
And he was serving ~LEWKS~ in the process. It's safe to say he won over every single heart in the house. *Swoon*
Backstage before he took the stage, Mason talked about what life has been life since his Walmart yodeling video went viral. He said, "There's a lot been going on in my life for the past month when 30 days ago I was singing in a Walmart, and here I am in Texas, and at the Opry, and everywhere; Ellen, Stagecoach, Coachella, everywhere."
But, his favorite thing he's done so far? Performing at the Grand Ole Opry, of course! He describes singing at the iconic country music venue as "amazing" ... "50 million amazings" to be exact. See Mason's interview below, and watch him play Darts for the first time! He's already pro.
