The left has found yet another way to be openly racist, all the while appearing "progressive" and "woke." This time, they're accusing white people of enabling serial killers. Or maybe they're saying that white people are naturally serial killers. It's a little hard to tell over all the hysteria. Anyway, I'll break it down for you in a minute.
Here's a little wisdom from an anonymous user on Reddit:
When you're allowed to say the absolute craziest things you want to, and you've cowed everyone around you into silence, the things you say are just going to get crazier and crazier.
I can't think of a better example than a recent example of hysteria "journalism" in a publication I'll leave unnamed because I don't want to give them the exposure.

At first look, it appears to be an article about the new Netflix series about serial killer Ted Bundy, "Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes." In reality, it's an unhinged rant about the evils of white men. In other words, it's full-on racism.
The article's title says it all: "Ted Bundy Wasn't Special Or Smart. He Was Just White"
You'll have to hear it for yourself to believe the mental gymnastics that the writer devoted to proving their agenda.
What Bundy did have was the power of being a white man in a society that reveres them and has implicit faith in their abilities. This privilege gave Bundy the ability to make even the most heinous of crimes take second place to his personality.
How's this for a misguided rant:
We don't need Ted Bundy to be reminded of the white male privilege so embedded in American society. We see it when white men are given lenient sentences for rape and manslaughter because they have promising futures or because they were raised with such affluence, people think they shouldn't be held responsible for their actions. We see it when dozens of people are shot dead in churches, schools, and newsrooms and lawmakers take no meaningful action because the perpetrator isn't Brown or from the Middle East. We see it when women are targeted because they left an abusive relationship or turned down a man's advances and it barely makes a blip in the 24/7 news cycle. We see it when Ted Bundy's name is cemented in pop culture but his victims remain supporting acts in his story.
That passage is a textbook example of virtue signaling. Plain and simple. The author is shrieking out to the world that they are woke!
In 2019, it's time to undo Bundy's delusions of grandeur and remember him as he should be: as a gutless creep who could only feel power by preying on the vulnerable.
Yes, exactly. That's exactly how we see him. Or, worse, really, most people see him as the presence of evil itself. Which is exactly why people are rolling their eyes. Because it is crazy to blame Ted Bundy's evil on his being a white man.
It's a lie, plain and simple. A denial of fact. But the left lost any respect for those ideals long ago.
