Traveling has become a norm once again but with the high airfares, it's kind of hard to travel when you're on a budget in this economy.
To help encourage traveling, Taiwan is planning to offer tourist $165 to go on a vacation there and cash rewards will be offered to tour groups as well. According to CNN, Taiwan's Premier Chen Chien-jen said that the government is aiming to attract about 6 million tourists in 2023 and aims to increase the amount of tourists each year.
These cash offers will be done digitally and tourist will be able to use it to cover expenses like accommodation. Taiwan's government has yet to release any more details on how to apply for the money but stay here for an update on when that happens.
