Last night was a huge win for the L.A. Lakers and for the entire city!
The Lakers beat the Miami heat 106-93 earning their 17th NBA title.
Even though Mayor Garcetti urged Angelenos to stay home, hundreds of fans swarmed downtown L.A. to celebrate the victory before. Shortly after large crowds gathered all over downtown LAPD declared the gatherings unlawful assemblies and the crowds were forced to disperse.
One fan went viral on Twitter because they showed up to the celebration inside a giant plastic bubble. YES. A LITERAL BUBBLE.
