G-Eazy took to Twitter to announce he will be performing a show in Washington DC that will benefit the March For Our Lives demonstration. March For Our Lives is a movement that gained momentum after the tragic events in Parkland, Florida. They are currently trying to raise awareness about not only gun control, but about how easy it is for anyone to get one, even those who have mental health issues. G-Eazy tweeted this statement earlier today:
In the statement, G-Eazy pleads for fans to "come through & support so we can try to put an end to these senseless tragedies." There have been at least 18 school shootings since January 1st. The Bay Area rapper is no stranger to giving back, he performed at The Bay Area Band Together concert which benefited victims of last year's Northern California wild fires.
