A visitor to a park in Chicago was left scratching his head at the sight of a rather sizeable mystery creature that briefly emerged from a pond. According to a local media report, the unidentified animal was observed last week by an individual strolling around the city's Lincoln Park. The creature in question, seen swimming in the park's North Pond, was described by the witness as being around four to six feet in length and seemingly sporting a snout. Pictures of the puzzling animal caused something of a stir on social media with many wondering if the oddity was an alligator.
