A British psychic famous for using asparagus to forecast the future has made the rather bold prediction that Michelle Obama will be the next president of the United States. Jemima Packington's annual prognostications are something of a fixture at the start of each year, in no small part because of her unique process in which she throws the vegetables in the air and then divines what's to come by how the stalks land on the ground. The Asparamancer, as she is affectionately known, found herself going viral this past weekend when a social media user called attention to a recent interview wherein she predicted that a woman would win November's presidential election.
While many posited that Kamala Harris replacing Joe Biden as the Democratic nominee was a sign that Packington's fantastic forecast could be coming to fruition, the Asparamancer dispelled that interpretation during a Tuesday morning appearance on a British television program.
