The 2024 crop circle season is officially underway in the UK as the first formation of the year has been found by researchers. The rather sizeable design was reportedly discovered on Wednesday near a two-century-old windmill that serves as tourist attraction in the British town of Wilton. The appearance of the formation likely brings a sigh of relief to crop circle enthusiasts who have spent the past few weeks patiently waiting to see the first design of the season, which generally begins in late May. With the proverbial starting gun having been fired, drone operators and researchers rushed to document the discovery while also celebrating its late arrival.
