Toddler With No Hands Gets Puppy With No Paw

Here's today's feel-good story:

Ivy McLeod, like any toddler, is happy and full of smiles as she discovers the world around her. Her favorite thing to do is color, but since she was born without hands, she holds the marker between her toes.

Ivy's mom Vanessa says that at age 2, Ivy doesn't yet realize that other kids have hands and she does not. She knows it's just a matter of time before she starts to ask questions.

To prepare for that moment, Vanessa decided to get a puppy that had similar limb differences to Ivy to show that being different is okay.

“You know you were born that way but different is beautiful and this puppy was also born that way and that is also a beautiful thing,” Vanessa wants to be able to say to her daughter.
