The Home of the Whopper is testing a new product line for its menu: Peanut Butter. While this may seem strange to the average American consumer, peanut butter has been successfully launched on South Korean Burger King Menus. The South Korean menu includes a peanut butter sauce, a Classic Peanut Butter Stacker (featuring beef patties, mayo, pickles, American cheese, and the new peanut butter sauce), and a Peanut Butter Beef and Chicken Stacker (featuring the same ingredients of the Peanut Butter Stacker with a crispy chicken patty.)
Burger King is now looking to expand its peanut butter line to other territories. While the US will not be in the initial expansion, Burger King is not completely keeping the idea off the table.
