The Journal of Social Psychology found that blondes or females with lighter colored hair do in fact have more fun and receive more love from their male counterparts.
According to a recent study done by researchers at Augsburg University in Minnesota - when 110 men were asked to rate women with different hair colors and various lengths on a variety of factors, it was found that men found women with light-hair more attractive overall. They also perceived them as younger and healthier.
On the flip side, blondes were found to be perceived as more promiscuous, which was not the greatest quality. Men noted that they don't look to "wife-up" a female that is perceived as promiscuous.
If you're looking for him to put a ring on it, the study found that men put raven-haired women in the "wife" category.
