***Update--All The Places In Chicago To Watch Fireworks On The 4th Of July

Due to Severe weather on Wednesday night, many of the firework celebrations have been postponed. Here's a list of when they are re-scheduled:


Naperville Ribfest - Rescheduled for Thursday at 10 p.m.

New Lenox - Rescheduled for Friday night, details to come

Orland Park - Rescheduled for Friday at 9 p.m.

Joliet - Rescheduled for Thursday at 9:15 p.m.

Tinley Park - Rescheduled for Thursday at 9:30 p.m.

Yorkville - Rescheduled for July 14 as part of Yorkville River Fest

Oswego - Rescheduled for Thursday

Batavia - Rescheduled for Thursday at 9 p.m.

Navy Pier-Downtown/The Loop

Want the best view of the biggest fireworks show in the Chicagoland area? Come to Navy Pier by 9:30pm to enjoy the free view and chill out under the skyline.


Shedd Aquarium/Museum Campus

The Shedd Aquarium’s weekly "Jazzin at the Shedd" series will have a themed event called Fourth of July Jazzin’.  It'll start at 5pm and last until 10pm. Tickets to the show are $25, and children under 2 are free.


Arlington Park Fireworks Night/Arlington Heights

Arlington Park is hosting their longest fireworks display ever on Sunday, July 1st, so get a head start! The show is about a half hour and there are various ticket and seating packages available. GA tickets are $22 and do not include the seat reservation. Act fast because they might sell out!


Fireworks at Dusk at Lake Ellyn/Glen Ellyn

The suburban village of Glen Ellyn offers its own fireworks show over its own lake-how cool is that? Grab your blanket and chill on the grass by Lake Ellyn and watch the sunset and fireworks. Admission is free!
