All that aside, President Trump's former campaign manager has managed to create even more negative space around the Trump Administration's "zero tolerance" immigration policy.
During an interview last night on Fox News, Corey Lewandowski mocked either Democratic strategist Zac Petkana and/or a story about a child with Down Syndrome who was separated from her mother after they crossed the border illegally. See the clip below....
Lewandowski's comment was immediately condemned on social media.
In a subsequent appearance on Fox News, he offered an explanation, stating "an apology? I owe an apology to the children whose parents are putting them in a position that is forcing them to be separated".
