California's primary takes place on June 5th, and GOP gubernatorial candidate John Cox made a campaign stop to talk to Armstrong & Getty about the race.
While Gavin Newsom leads the pack of contenders, polls show that Cox has built a lead over former LA mayor Antonio Villaraigosa (as well as Travis Allen) for the number 2 slot, which would earn him a spot on the November ballot.
Cox spent his time talking to A&G about re-igniting economic growth, California's housing crisis, fake political ads and why he likes the Trump White House.
