Sesame Street Covid-19 Town Hall For Kids This Saturday

If you've struggled with explaining what is going on these days to your very young children, you need to turn to the experts. Big Bird and Elmo of course!

Sesame Street has a #CaringForEachOther section of it's website that is dedicated to helping parents navigate through various aspects of dealing with the Coronavirus Pandemic with toddlers.

"Our resources aren’t prescriptions you have to follow—just ideas to help your family find ways to breathe, laugh, and play together." The page says. They even have a newsletter you can sign up for.

This Saturday morning,Sesame Street and CNN will hold a 90 minute coronavirus “town hall."

Sesame Street characters Big Bird, Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Rosita and Grover will join Doctor Sanjay Gupta and CNN reporter Erica Hill to address anxiety, screen time and play dates in the time of COVID-19.

The goal is to help children make sense of what’s happening and what to expect as medical experts search for treatments and vaccines.

You can watch The ABC's of COVID-19 on every CNN network, also on their homepage or CNNgo app.

You can submit your question for the panel here.
