One of my favorite cities is hurting as we are seeing the devastation from a deadly tornado last night. Please join me in saying a prayer for #Nashville and the lives of friends & families affected. And not just those in Nashville, but across Tennessee. Especially thankful for all the first responders who put their lives at risk to help others.
Tennessee Emergency Management Agency confirmed as of early Tuesday morning that at least 19 people died from tornadoes and storms across four counties.
The Tennesseean reported on the damage at concert venue Basement East. Employees were able to get to safety, and while the building is a total loss the 'I Believe in Nashville' mural survived and has become a symbol for Nashville's strength across social media with the hashtag #NashvilleStrong!
