Dorian Hunter who lives in Cartersville GA just north of Atlanta was named the winner of season 10 of MasterChef of FOX TV.
Hunter was a fan favorite, and Gordon Ramsay declared her to be the one to “watch out for.” She is also a historic winner for “MasterChef” as the mother of two is the first African American woman to win the cooking competition.
Hunter wins a $250,000 prize and the opportunity to intern at restaurants of the three chef judges — Gordon Ramsay, Joe Bastianich and Aaron Sanchez.
She was one of three cooks who created a three-course meal while family, friends, and former winners looked on. Dorian paid tribute to her mom in her final dishes on the show.
