NASCAR's Dale Earnhardt Jr, his wife Amy and daughter Isla are alright following a fiery crash to the plane they were on that was headed to Bristol for the NASCAR racing weekend.
The Federal Aviation Administration said the Cessna Citation rolled off the end of a runway at the Elizabethton Municipal Airport on Thursday afternoon and caught fire.
The Earnhardts and the two pilots all escaped unharmed.
Kelley Earnhardt, Dale's sister, confirmed via Twitter that Earnhardt, his wife, Amy, and daughter, Isla, were onboard along with two pilots. Kelley Earnhardt said all five were safe and headed to a local hospital for evaluation.
