Jess Hilarious, Lil Scrappy To Appear In New Drama Film 'I Hate I Love You'

Jess Hilarious and rapper Lil Scrappy are set to appear in a brand-new movie arriving this week.

On Tuesday, November 12, Maverick Entertainment released the trailer for the upcoming film I Hate I Love You. The suspenseful drama, directed by Jabriel McIntosh, follows the lives of Jacinda and Bradley Wright played by Kearia Schroeder and Redaric Williams. The Wrights are the co-founders of The ArtLife Group, which is a multimedia management company that dabbles in music, culture, fashion and social media. The Breakfast Club co-host stars as "Leah," who's a friend of Jacinda, and Scrappy plays "Bones," a shady character who does business with Bradley.

According to a press release, the film is a "compelling tale of ambition, betrayal, and the high cost of success, embodying the age-old adage, 'Keep your friends close and your enemies closer." I Hate I Love You also stars Sean Freeman, Ernestine Johnson, Javier McIntosh, Dasan Frazier and more. The film executive produced by Maverick Entertainment and written-produced by J. Carter of Freeli Films.

Jess Hilarious just made her grand return to The Breakfast Club after she gave birth to her new daughter Marley. Prior to her time on the morning show, Jess appeared in several movies throughout the course of her acting career including the BET+ Original First Lady of BMF: The Tonesa Welch Story and The Realtor with Tommy Davidson.

I Hate I Love You is set to debut exclusively on Peacock this Thursday, November 14. Watch the trailer below.
