Ariana Grande is feeling very "happy" with her boyfriend Ethan Slater is glad more people are "getting to know" him in the lead up to their new film Wicked.
The "We Can't Be Friends" singer spoke with Entertainment Tonight during a press stop for Wicked on November 9, praising her "adorable" boyfriend while sharing how he's "always" doing small things to show he cares, such as holding the train of her gowns on red carpets and otherwise being a "perfect gentleman," per People. The couple even recently shared a sweet moment together at the Wicked premiere in Los Angeles.
"He's always adorable, and he's so amazing in this film, he's such an amazing person, I'm so happy people are getting to know him," she said. "My heart is very happy."
Slater, who portrays the character Boq in the upcoming movie adaptation of the beloved musical, also made sure to show love to his girlfriend as well, gushing over her role as Glinda in the highly-anticipated film.
"I am so proud of Ariana," he said. "She's incredible in this movie, and then to be able to share in the celebration of it, I'm just grateful."
Grande and Slater first sparked romance rumors in July 2023 following her divorce from ex Dalton Gomez and his separation from now-ex wife Lilly Jay, but have kept their relationship mostly private aside from rare date nights together. In September, Grande opened up about the "most disappointing part" of her romance with the Broadway star, specifically detailing her experience with the public reaction of their relationship.
Wicked hits theaters November 22.
