Your Old Droog delivers a cinematic experience for his brand-new LP.

The seasoned Brooklynite dropped his full-length project Movie on Friday, June 21. YOD kicks off his ninth studio album with "Success & Power" with Just Blaze on the beat, and the Harry Fraud-produced "How Do You Do It?" He opens up about his struggles growing up as a Ukrainian immigrant in "Mantra" and expresses his feelings about a special lady in "I Think I Love Her." The album includes a few stand-out collaborations like "DBZ" featuring Method Man and Denzel Curry. He closes out with the bonus track "Care Plan" featuring Yasiin Bey.

"I won’t give away the plot but this ALBUM means a whole lot to me," Droog wrote on Instagram earlier this month. "It took almost two years to complete and it’s finally here. One day it just came to me... When I was a young child, I used to sit around the living room with my parents and whenever something defied reality in a film they would simply say “Kino” ... when something was too good or too impossible... they just said Movie. This album is Movie."

The album is full of bangers produced by Harry Fraud, Cartune Beatz, Madlib, Conductor Williams, and more. He began the album rollout back in April by debuting "DBZ" with Meth and Curry. In the official visuals for the rare collaboration, all three transformed into claymation wrestlers and hit the ring just like the classic TV series "Celebrity Death Match." He served up "Mercury Thermometers" a month later, and followed up with "I Think I Love Her." He tapped DJ and designer Vashtie to direct the music video for the emotional single, which showed him falling for a handful of women.

Fans can watch YOD perform songs from the album at his upcoming show on July 10 with Edan On The Wheels, Che Noir and Conductor Williams at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City. Until then, stream Your Old Droog's new album below.
