Jordyn Woods returned to Instagram on Friday (March 8) to celebrate International Women's Day. However, her return to the social media platform was not without incident.
Hours before the 21-year-old model shared her first IG post since her cheating scandal with Tristan Thompson, Jordyn ended her Instagram hiatus by liking her (former) bestie's Instagram photo, which got the Internet talking. On Friday, Kylie Jenner shared a hot and sexy photo of herself in red latex pants and a white cropped tank top. Fans were quick to notice that among the millions of likes was none other than Jordyn. However, once Jordyn's like became news, she seemingly decided to unlike the post as fans noticed her like was gone after a few hours. Jordyn's liking then unliking subsequently sparked #LikeGate, with many commenting their thoughts/ideas as to why Jordyn chose to like then unlike Kylie's photo.
Later in the day, Jordyn shared her first post in over two weeks. To mark her return, Jordyn showed off a new short hairstyle. She captioned the photo: "If you’re reading this.. it means God has given you another day to wake up and be grateful & better than you were yesterday💕." The 21-year-old also posted a number of inspirational women to her Instagram in honor of International Women's Day.
Jordyn's return to social media comes amid reports she and Kylie are working on rebuilding their friendship. As previously reported, the 21-year-old billionaire hasn't shut the door on a possible reconciliation between her and her longtime bestie. "Their friendship is not 100% over," a source told People, adding, Kylie and Jordyn haven't spent any time together since the scandal broke, but they've been texting. "Although she doesn’t live at Kylie’s, Jordyn still has things there. She and Kylie aren’t socializing, but are in contact. They are texting each other."
"It’s still a tricky situation for Kylie," the insider explained. "And no one is actually putting too much pressure on her. Her family is aware that she is in contact with Jordyn. They are letting Kylie figure things out for herself."
A second source told People the longtime friends, who were attached at the hip, are "working on rebuilding their friendship."
As fans know, Kylie and Jordyn's friendship has been on the rocks after news broke that Jordyn and Kylie's sister Khloe Kardashian's boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, kissed at a house party late last month. Since the betrayal, Jordyn has moved out of Kylie's guesthouse, she has reportedly been cut off from all of her current and future business deals with the Kar-Jenners, and she's been unfollowed on social media by the entire Kardashian-Jenner family, excluding Kylie.
