Greta Van Fleet Are Making Their 'Saturday Night Live' Debut Next Week

Greta Van Fleet just wrapped up an impressive year. The rock band released their debut full-length album, March of the Peaceful Army, over the summer; they played numerous festivals and toured nonstop, and in December were nominated for three Grammys: Best New Artist, Best Rock Performance for their debut single "Highway Tune," and Best Rock Album for their double EP From The Fires.

With the build up to 2019, and the momentum continuing to rise, this year may end up being even better for the Detroit-based classic rock revivalists. On Monday (January 7), Saturday Night Live announced the host and musical guest for its first episode of the new year, and it looks like Greta Van Fleet will be gracing the SNL stage for the first time on January 19th. They'll be joined by the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star Rachel Brosnahan, who will also be making her SNL debut.

Check out the announcement below.

Aside from the SNL performance, the band will also be touring the globe this year in support of their recently released album. Check out a list of tour dates here.

They also recently told Billboard that they plan on releasing more new music in 2019, with drummer Danny Wagner going so far as to say he'll quit if they don't.

We can't wait to see what 2019 brings for the young rockers and their fans!
