In 2018 The 1975 put out one of the best albums of the year, and in 2019 Matty Healy and George Daniel may end up putting out another favorite. No, we're not talking about Notes on a Conditional Form, although we're really excited for that. We're talking about Harry Styles' sophomore album. On Thursday (January 3), The 1975 frontman and drummer expressed public interest that they want to be a part of the former One Direction star's next project.
"Hey @Harry_Styles me and George really wanna produce your next album hmu if you wanna it’s cool if not tho I know you’re like super busy etc love!!!!!" Healy tweeted after posting that he needs Styles' new number.

The singer-songwriter's urge for a collab should come as no surprise — he's actually worked with Styles before.
Healy workshopped with One Direction for their 2014 album, Four, and almost gave his band's 2016 hit "The Sound" to Styles and company.
In addition to working together, the 29-year-old is known to be an admirer of Styles, making out with a cardboard cutout in the "Love Me" video and covering "What Makes You Beautiful" during a visit to the BBC 1 Live Lounge in 2013.
Given Styles' more rock-leaning solo sound, this collaboration actually makes total sense. The 24-year-old hasn't announced that he's working on his next album yet, so hopefully there's time to recruit Healy and Daniel.
