Terry Crews Stars in Muse's '80s High School Sci-Fi "Pressure" Video

As the release date of Muse's eighth studio album, Simulation Theory, creeps closer, the band shared another song off the upcoming release. "Pressure" is a high-tempo song with an equally energetic music video.

Actor Terry Crews stars in the '80s inspired clip, which is set at a 1984 high school homecoming dance. Muse plays the battle of the bands winner, Rocket Baby Doll — a group none of the teenaged guests are excited to see. As they begin to perform the song, the mood changes and the uninterested teens begin to dance. Two mischievous high schoolers sneak into the science lab, and that's when all hell breaks lose. A series of events cause a mutant creature to attack the school, and it's up to Crews to save the day.

Lance Drake, who also directed Muse’s “Thought Contagion” and “Dig Down” videos, was behind this one too.

Muse announced Simulation Theory late last month, but released new singles long before sharing its details. "Pressure" follows "The Dark Side," "Thought Contagion," "Something Human," and "Dig Down."

Simulation Theory comes out November 9 and will be offered in standard (11 tracks), deluxe (16 tracks), and super deluxe (21 tracks) versions. Muse will also be hitting the road in 2019, though specific dates have not yet been announced.
