Lil Pump & Smokepurpp Bring Out XXXTentacion's Mom During Tribute in Miami

Florida natives Lil Pump and Smokepurpp took some time out of their set at Miami's Lit Up Festival on Saturday (July 28) to pay tribute to their fallen fellow Floridian, XXXTentacion. About halfway through their set, the late rapper's hit single "SAD!" began blasting through the speakers. As everyone in attendance sang along, the rappers brought out a special guest: Cleopatra Bernard, X's mom.

Upon coming onstage, Bernard emotionally embraced Smokepurpp and joined the rappers as they crossed their arms to form an "X." As the song ended, Pump gave tribute to his friend. "Rest in peace, X. We love you, man," he said.

The 20-year-old rapper was shot and killed in his car last month outside a motorsports shop in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Since his murder, three suspects have been arrested.

Days after his death, Bernard took to social media to insinuate that X's girlfriend was pregnant when he died. "He left us a final gift" she captioned a photo of an ultrasound on Instagram. It was later revealed that the young artist had signed a $10 million record deal just weeks before his death. After his estate is settled, we may just get to hear the unreleased material.
