If you've gone to Starbucks this week and you weren't able to order your favorite drink, this is due to Starbucks facing a shortage on key supplies. Some stores are facing shortages on cups, cup stoppers, cake pops, Oat milk and coffee syrups. A Starbucks spokesperson told Yahoo,

"I can confirm that we are experiencing temporary supply shortages of some of our products. Specific items will vary by market and store, and some stores will experience outages of various items at the same time. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working quickly and closely with our supply chain vendors to restock items as soon as possible. Oat milk is an example of the handful of outages customers may experience when visiting their local Starbucks. A good reminder/tip, is the Starbucks app is a resource for item availability."

The shortage on some of these items means that baristas are unable to make certain drinks, this includes:

  • Cinnamon Dolce Latte
  • White Chocolate Mocha
  • Dark Roast Coffee
  • Mango Dragonfruit Refresher
  • Kiwi Starfruit Refresher
  • Strawberry Acai Refresher
  • Chai Latte

Have you been able to order your go-to drink?
