Trident Seafoods Corporation just issued a voluntary recall on a select batch of of its Pacific Salmon Burgers sold at Costco. The recall is over concerns that they could contain small pieces of metal. According to the FDA, the company issued the recall only on a single lot number of Pacific Salmon Burgers sold in three-pound boxes. The affected burgers have a Lot Number GC101431 and a best by date of 01/14/2023. If you happen to have the specific boxes involved in the recall, you can get refund at your local Costco and you shouldn't eat the burgers as there is a risk of a choking hazard as well as additional types of injury. Trident said in the FDA recall release that the specific source of the small pieces of metal has not been located and they are currently investigating this situation thoroughly. If you have any questions, you can contact Trident's Consumer Affairs Team at 1-866-413-4749 from Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. PST, or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
