Sometimes when you're in an Uber, you're just not in the mood to talk to your driver.
Well Uber just released a new feature called "Quiet Mode" so that you and your driver are on the same page about this silent drive.
The company said on their website, "If you need to respond to emails or are in the mood for a nap, make your trip a quieter one with just one tap. If you’re in the mood to chat, that’s an option too."
In the preference section of the app, you can choose either "Quiet preferred" or "Happy to chat" after requesting a car.
The only way to test this new feature is riding in an Uber Black or Uber Black SUV premium ride.
Hopefully this new feature expands to all of the different ride options soon!
